This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado. .DAY ONE...TONIGHT... No hazardous weather is expected at this time. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH THURSDAY... Snow will develop Friday morning in northeast Colorado and spread east to about Highway 25 in northwest Kansas during the afternoon. Snow amounts will generally be less than one inch. However, there is the possibility that a narrow band of locally heavy snow will develop, primarily across the southern half of Kit Carson county and northern half of Cheyenne county Colorado into perhaps southern Sherman and northern Wallace counties. If this happens, snow amounts of up to 6 inches will be possible in those areas. A brief changeover to all snow will be possible Friday night further east, mainly south of Interstate 70. Additional snow amounts of less than one inch are expected, with snow ending late Friday night. Northwest winds gusting 40 to 55 mph are expected during the day Saturday. Areas with lingering snow cover from Fridays expected snowfall could see some blowing and or drifting snow, possibly producing some reduced visibilities. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation will not be needed.
