This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado. .DAY ONE...TONIGHT... No hazardous weather is expected at this time. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH THURSDAY... Light snow will develop Friday morning in northeast Colorado and spread eastward to about Highway 27 in northwest Kansas by the afternoon. Snow amounts will generally be less than one inch. However, there is the possibility that a narrow band of locally heavy snow will develop, primarily in Kit Carson and Cheyenne counties of northeast Colorado. If this happens, local snow amounts of up to 4 inches will be possible in those areas. A brief changeover to all snow will be possible Friday night further east, mainly south of Interstate 70. Additional snow amounts of less than one inch are expected, with snow ending late Friday night. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation will not be needed.
