There is a slight to marginal risk for severe thunderstorms mainly
this evening for areas north of Interstate 70. The best chances will
be in southwest Nebraska. Large hail and damaging winds will be the
main hazards.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY…
There is a marginal risk for severe thunderstorms Tuesday afternoon
and evening east of a McCook, Nebraska, to Norton, Kansas line. Large
hail and damaging winds may accompany stronger storms.
There is a marginal risk for severe thunderstorms once again
Wednesday afternoon and evening east of a Trenton, Nebraska, to Hill
City, Kansas, line. Large hail and damaging winds continue to be the
main threats. Heavy rainfall will also be possible.
Thunderstorm chances will continue each day through next weekend.
There may be a few severe storms, although predictability is low at
this time.
