Yuma County Hazardous Weather Outlook

This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska…
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.

.DAY ONE…THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT…

Thunderstorms will develop around the McCook area this afternoon and
are expected to merge into a complex that will move south across
areas east of Highway 83 tonight. These storms will be capable of
producing large hail, damaging winds and perhaps a tornado, as well
as flash flooding from heavy rain. Further west towards the Kansas
and Colorado border area, thunderstorm development is less certain.
However, any storm that does develop will also be capable of
producing large hail, damaging winds and tornadoes through this
evening.

Areas of fog may redevelop overnight and into early Sunday morning with
visibility occasionally reduced to less than a mile.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…SUNDAY THROUGH SATURDAY…

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.
