This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska…
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.
.DAY ONE…THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT…
Widespread fog will dissipate by early this afternoon. The fog will
quickly redevelop south of the interstate very late this afternoon
then quickly spread north north this evening, lasting through the
night. Visibilities will be as low as one quarter mile at times.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…WEDNESDAY THROUGH TUESDAY…
Widespread fog will continue across the area through mid morning
Wednesday. Visibilities as low as one quarter mile are expected.
Strong northerly winds, snow, and blowing snow will be possible
across portions of the Tri-State area Thursday into Thursday night.
Wind chill readings as low as 0 degrees will be possible late
Thursday night and Friday morning. Residents and travelers are
encouraged to pay close attention to the forecast as the week
progresses.
