YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  A Heat Advisory is in effect through the early afternoon hours today for Northwest Kansas and Southwest Nebraska. Temperatures and heat index values are forecast to reach the mid to upper 100s. Heat related illnesses and additional stress on livestock and pets may be possible.  Severe storms are possible starting in the afternoon and potentially lingering into the overnight hours. Wind gusts up to 75 mph are the main threat, but large hail and maybe some isolated flooding could also occur.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...
