YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TONIGHT...  A Heat Advisory is in effect for Northwest Kansas and Southwest Nebraska. Temperatures are forecast to only drop into the 70s, limiting recovery from the heat during the day. Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat events. Livestock may be stressed as well due to multiple days of triple digit heat.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...  The Heat Advisory continues Monday in Northwest Kansas and Southwest Nebraska, where temperatures are forecast to be in the 100s with heat index values in the mid to upper 100s.  A few severe storms are possible Monday afternoon and evening. Locally damaging winds are the primary hazard. Impacts to trees, siding and crops are possible.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
