YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  Northwest winds gusting 45 to 55 mph will continue through this afternoon. Some localized gusts to 60 mph are possible. These wind gusts may make for difficult travel, especially for high profile vehicles.  Blowing dust remains possible through early this afternoon, mainly along and east of Highway 27. Localized brownout conditions are possible with visibilities near zero.  There is the potential for Elevated fire weather conditions to develop this afternoon for locations generally along and west of Highway 27. Outdoor burning is highly discouraged across the entire area.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...  Wintry precipitation is possible across the Tri State area for next weekend.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed. We would appreciate any reports of blowing dust via telephone and social media.
