YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  A Winter Storm Watch begins late tonight. Wind chills tonight will drop into the single digits above/below zero.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...  A Winter Storm Watch will continue through the day Friday and Saturday, ending Saturday evening. Adverse travel conditions associated with accumulating snow are anticipated on Friday and Saturday. Wind chill readings ranging from 5 degrees above zero to 5 degrees below zero are expected during the early morning and late evening hours on Saturday and Sunday. Those with travel plans are encouraged to monitor the forecast for further updates.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed. However, we would appreciate any snowfall reports during the course of the snow event.
