YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...  Breezy north-northwest to northerly winds gusting up to 55 mph are possible through tonight.  Brief periods of blowing snow, should rain transition to snow, are possible along and west of a Stratton, Colorado to Kit Carson, Colorado line. This does includes portions of Interstate 70 in western Kit Carson county.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH MONDAY...  Accumulating snow is likely for most of the area post Thanksgiving. Wind chill readings are forecast to fall below zero Saturday and Sunday mornings. Those with travel plans are encouraged to keep up with the most up to date forecast.   .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation is not currently expected.
