This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight Light snow will continue in the mountains and over the Palmer Divide this afternoon. This may impact travel with snow and blowing snow creating low visibility and slick roads. Additional accumulations be 1 to 2 inches in the mountains, with little if any accumulation over the Palmer Divide. Isolated to scattered rain showers will be possible over the rest of the plains. Strong winds will persist across the plains this afternoon then decrease this evening. Peak gusts from 35 to 50 mph will be possible. This could create blowing dust and perhaps travel impacts, especially on I-70 and I-76. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday Tuesday and Wednesday will be mild and dry which will be good for travelers. A storm system will begin approaching Colorado late on Thursday which will bring cooler temperatures for Thanksgiving. This storm system will bring light to moderate snow and much colder temperatures to the region late Thursday through early Saturday.
