Isolated to scattered strong to severe thunderstorms may occur for Kit Carson and Cheyenne counties in East Central Colorado. A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect until 4 AM MT. A flood watch remains for East Central Colorado and portions of Western Kansas through Thursday morning. Most of the area covered by the flood watch has also observed heavy rainfall or flooding over the past week, so these locations are more susceptible to flash flooding. Isolated severe storms are possible across western portions of Kit Carson and Cheyenne counties in Colorado this evening as storms move in from the Front Range. A more conditional threat for sporadic instances of severe hail is possible across western Kansas. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH THURSDAY... Isolated severe storms are possible Friday across the area. Very large hail and damaging winds are the primary hazards if storms form.
