Near critical fire weather conditions are expected today across the region during the afternoon hours with north-northwesterly winds gusting up to around 35 mph. Please consider avoiding burning today or doing any activities that could cause wildfires. Also, please pay attention to local burn bans in your area.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...  Frost may be possible during the early Thursday morning hours in Kit Carson and Cheyenne counties of Colorado.  Near critical fire weather conditions are possible on Thursday with elevated to near critical fire weather conditions possible on Friday as breezy to gusty winds look to continue.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
