WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

  This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Breezy conditions continue in the mountains and over the plains with gusts up to 40 mph in the mountains and 35 mph on the plains. Elevated fire weather for the plains including the south Denver metro and Palmer divide.   .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday  Northwesterly flow will bring gusty winds over the higher terrain and eastern plains Thursday afternoon. These areas can expect wind gusts up to 30-35 mph. Near-critical fire weather conditions are possible across the mountains and foothills Friday afternoon due to relative humidity percentages near 17-20. Spotty fire weather condition may occur in the plains as well but winds remain weaker. This weekend through mid next week will remain dry.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
