This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska…
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.
.DAY ONE…THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT…
Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are expected across the forecast
area today mainly along an axis that extends from southeast Colorado
across western Kansas into north central Kansas and south central
Nebraska late this afternoon and evening. Some storms may become
marginally severe with damaging winds and large hail as the primary
threats.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…SUNDAY THROUGH SATURDAY…
Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms will move across the
central High Plains region Sunday afternoon through Sunday night. A
marginal threat of severe weather will exist with large hail and
damaging winds being the primary threats with some of the stronger
storms. Localized heavy rain leading to the potential for flash
flooding will also exist Sunday night.
