YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...  A Heat Advisory remains in effect for counties along and east of a line from Dundy county to Gove county for this afternoon and early evening. Heat index values are expected to reach around 105 degrees, which could lead to heat related illnesses. Be sure to take breaks in the shade and stay hydrated.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...  A Heat Advisory is in effect for areas from Red Willow county south to Gove county, and points east. This is in effect for Saturday afternoon and early evening. Heat index values are expected to reach around 105 degrees, which could lead to heat related illnesses. Be sure to take breaks in the shade and stay hydrated.  There is a possibility of showers and thunderstorms each day from Saturday through Monday night. Locally heavy rainfall will be possible, especially on Sunday.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation is not anticipated at this time.
