This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight
There will be a chance of showers and thunderstorms over the
mountains and foothills today and a slight chance over the plains
this afternoon and early evening. The storms will produce light
to moderate rainfall and wind gusts to 45 mph with occasional
lightning. Temperatures will remain above seasonal normals.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Wednesday through Monday
Warm and mostly dry weather is expected over the forecast area
Wednesday. The chance of showers will increase mainly over the
mountains and foothills on Thursday and Friday as a weather
disturbance moves over Wyoming and northern Colorado. A lower
chance of storms will be found over the plains these days, while
fire weather concerns will increase as southerly winds increase.
Drier weather will return for the weekend with temperatures around
