WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Light snow showers are possible in the northwest mountains and valleys. Snowfall accumulation will range from a trace to a half an inch. Breezy conditions are expected across the northeast plains where northwest winds will produce gusts up to 35 mph. Below normal temperatures will continue for all areas.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday  Snow and very cold temperatures will spread from north to south across the forecast area Thursday through Thursday night. Roads will become snow packed and hazardous, so allow extra time for your commutes or any planned travel. Snow will taper off late Thursday night and end Friday morning, but very cold temperatures will remain. Total snow accumulations from this next storm system will most likely range between 2 and 6 inches across the I-25 Corridor, between 4 and 9 inches in the mountains and foothills north of I-70, and between 1 and 3 inches over the eastern plains.  Dry weather with a gradual warming trend is still on track for this weekend into early next week.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
