WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  This afternoon, scattered storms will develop over the high country, especially  south of I-70, including Park County. Isolated high based storms over the plains late this afternoon and early will produce little rainfall but strong outflow wind gusts to 50 mph. It looks hot again today, with a few place to reach 100 degrees out on the plains.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday  Hot temperatures can be expected Friday, with highs soaring to 100F or more across most of the plains. Stay hydrated, wear light colored and loose fitting clothing, avoid strenuous outdoor activity, and seek shade if possible. Saturday will be another hot day, although a cool front should offer up some cooling and a higher chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon.  Cooler temperatures and a higher coverage of showers and storms can be expected Sunday. Highs may not reach 90F for a change across the plains. Some of the thunderstorms will likely produce locally heavy rainfall, and the threat of flash flooding in and near recent burn areas will be elevated.  The somewhat cooler temperatures and chance of showers and storms will remain in the forecast through much of next week.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
