WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

  This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Showers and thunderstorms will develop over the higher terrain while it will be hot and mostly dry across the northeast plains. The threat for brief heavy rain in the burn areas will increase this afternoon and evening.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday  Showers and thunderstorms are likely over the mountains and foothills during the late day periods of Friday through Monday. The plains can expect a chance of showers and storms those days. There will be the potential for burn scar flooding in the mountains due to the showers. The chances for showers and thunderstorms will decrease Tuesday and Wednesday of next week and temperatures will climb to above seasonal normals.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
