Washington County Hazardous Weather Outlook

This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.

.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight

It will be dry and mild today. A storm system will approach the
area tonight and will bring an increasing chance of snow to the
mountains by midnight. At lower elevations light snow will
develop late tonight mainly along southern areas of the I-25
corridor and Palmer Divide.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Sunday through Friday

A winter storm system will move across southern Colorado late
tonight and Sunday which will bring snow to the region, mainly
south of Interstate 70. North of Interstate 70, periods of light
snow will be possible. For areas south of Interstate 70, snowfall
amounts of 3 to 6 inches area expected. Farther north, amounts are
expected to be less than 3 inches with little if any snowfall
over far northern Colorado.

Monday and Tuesday will be windy with periods of snow in the
mountains.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT…

Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
