Washington County Hazardous Weather Outlook

…Winter Storm Warnings continues for the Front Range Mountains,
Foothills and Northeast Plains into this afternoon…

This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.

.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight

Heavy snow will continue from the Front Range east across the
plains this morning, then decrease from west to east through the
afternoon, and end on the eastern plains early this evening.
Additional snowfall amounts will be from 5 to 10 inches across
most of this area, with lighter amounts north of Greeley and south
of Limon. North winds at 20 to 30 mph will blow across the plains
through early afternoon, with gusts up to 45 mph over the eastern
part of the plains creating blizzard conditions. The winds will
decrease late today.

Areas west of the plains will have lighter snow today, decreasing
in the afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Tuesday through Sunday

Wednesday will be dry across the region. Thanksgiving Day through
Saturday it will be unsettled as another storm system impacts
north central and northeast Colorado. This will result in a good
chance of snow mainly on Friday, and continued cooler than normal
temperatures. It will be dry on Sunday but remain cool.
