This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northwestern
South Dakota…southwestern South Dakota…the Black Hills of
South Dakota…northeast Wyoming…and the Black Hills of
.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight
Light snow will continue today across a good portion of the area,
tapering off and ending late today. Accumulations of up to 2
inches are expected, with locally higher amounts possible over the
northern Black Hills.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Wednesday through Monday
A strong storm system will likely impact the region later on
Friday and into the weekend. There is a lot of uncertainty on the
track and timing of the system at this time, but there is
potential for significant snowfall and gusty winds across a good
portion of the area. If you have travel plans Friday and over the
weekend, keep updated on the forecast as the week goes on.
