Yuma County Hazardous Weather Outlook

This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska…
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.

.DAY ONE…TONIGHT…

Rain showers will develop in southeast Colorado early this evening
as an upper level disturbance approaches from the southwest.
Precipitation will progress east northeast across western Kansas late
this evening and overnight. Rain may mix with or transition to wet
snow in association with locally heavy or persistent precipitation.
No snow accumulation or impacts are anticipated at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…SUNDAY THROUGH SATURDAY…

South to southeast winds gusting to around 40 mph are expected late
Monday morning through the afternoon along and west of a line from
Oakley to Goodland and Yuma.

Near critical fire weather conditions are possible Wednesday
afternoon for areas along and south of Interstate 70 from Flagler to
Oakley, and west of Highway 83.
