A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect for the entire Tri-State area
through 9 AM MDT, 10 AM CDT Wednesday morning.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH TUESDAY…
A strong quick moving storm system will impact the Tri-State area
Thursday through Thursday night. North winds gusting up to 50 mph
are expected late Thursday afternoon with a slow decreasing trend
during the night. Rain in the morning will slowly change over to
snow from northwest to southeast late in the afternoon through the
night. A few locations may see some freezing rain mix with the snow.
At this time snowfall accumulations are expected to range from a few
tenths of an inch to around three inches. The higher amounts are
expected northwest of a line from Flagler to Benkelman. Some blowing
snow is possible. Wind chill values early Friday morning are expected
to be in the zero to six above zero range.
Residents and travelers are encouraged to pay close attention to the
forecast as the week progresses.
