Yuma County Hazardous Weather Outlook

This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska…
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.

.DAY ONE…TONIGHT…

Light rain, possibly mixed with some light snow, is expected tonight
across the Tri-State area. Some patchy fog is also expected, which
could make visibility issues a concern as well as slick roads.
Travelers should use caution as these conditions are expected through
Tuesday morning.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…TUESDAY THROUGH MONDAY…

Patchy fog could result in decreased visibility through the mid-
morning hours Tuesday.

Strong northerly winds, snow, and blowing snow will be possible
across portions of the Tri-State area Thursday into Thursday night.
Residents and travelers are encouraged to pay close attention to the
forecast as the week progresses.

Wind chill readings in the single numbers above zero are possible
Thursday night into Friday morning, and again Friday night into
Saturday morning.

Spotter activation will not be needed.
