Yuma County Hazardous Weather Outlook

This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska…
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.

.DAY ONE…TONIGHT…

A Dense Fog Advisory has been issued for the entire Tri-State area
for this evening through 10 AM MDT or 11 AM CDT Monday morning.
Visibility of a quarter-mile or less is expected at times. Some light
drizzle will also be possible through tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…MONDAY THROUGH SUNDAY…

Dense dog and drizzle are expected to dissipate sometime around
midday Monday.

A cold front Monday evening will bring colder air into the region.
Areas of freezing drizzle and freezing fog will develop behind the
front and persist into Tuesday morning. Ice accumulations could reach
up to a tenth of an inch.

A stronger cold front Thursday night will result in rain changing to
snow and gusty northwest winds. Snow and blowing snow will be
possible north of Interstate 70 and west of Highway 25 in northwest
Kansas, southwest Nebraska and northeast Colorado.

Spotter activation will not be needed.
