Yuma County Hazardous Weather Outlook

This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska…
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.

.DAY ONE…THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT…

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from late this evening into
Sunday morning. Widespread freezing fog and areas of freezing
drizzle are expected to develop across the area tonight and persist
into Sunday morning. A light glaze of ice is possible making for
hazardous travel conditions.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…SUNDAY THROUGH SATURDAY…

Widespread freezing fog and areas of freezing drizzle are expected
to persist into Sunday morning. A light glaze of ice is possible making for
hazardous travel conditions.

Freezing drizzle is possible once again Monday night into Tuesday.
Light ice accumulations are possible.

A few thunderstorms are possible Wednesday and Wednesday night.
Widespread severe weather is not currently anticipated.

Another round of snow and strong winds is possible Thursday night
into Friday across the High Plains.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT…

Spotter activation will not be needed. Any reports of icy conditions
will be greatly appreciated.
