northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.
.DAY ONE…TODAY AND TONIGHT…
Rain and snow are expected today, which may transition to freezing
drizzle late this afternoon and tonight. Confidence of freezing
drizzle occurring is moderate. Roadways are expected to become slick due
to snow packing, rain freezing and turning to ice, and ice
accumulations from freezing drizzle if freezing drizzle occurs.
Precipitation will end from southwest to northeast after midnight
through Saturday morning.
Visibilities may fall to less than a mile in the falling snow for a
short time late this morning and this afternoon as a band of heavier
snowfall moves through.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY…
A glaze of ice may form Saturday night as freezing drizzle returns.
The freezing drizzle will end Sunday morning.
