Yuma County Hazardous Weather Outlook

This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska…
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.

.DAY ONE…TONIGHT…

Light snow is expected for many tonight. Snowfall accumulations will
range from little if any south of the interstate with a few tenths
to maybe an inch north. Visibilities may drop to a mile or two in
in Yuma County, and along Highway 36 to the east. A few slick spots
are possible on area roadways.

After midnight through mid morning Monday a couple hundredths of an
inch of freezing rain may occur for those in an area south of
Highway 36, north of Highway 40, and west of Highway 27. Bridges and
overpasses will be the most susceptible to ice forming.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…MONDAY THROUGH SUNDAY…

Elevated fire weather conditions are possible Wednesday, mainly
along and west of the Colorado Kansas border.

Elevated fire weather conditions are possible Friday, mainly west of
the Colorado Kansas border.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT…

Spotter activation will not be needed.
