Locally heavy precipitation and breezy northeast winds are expected
across portions of the Tri-State area on Sunday as a low pressure
system tracks east across the Southern Plains. Precipitation may
begin as a light wintry mix late Sunday morning. Precipitation may
fall as wet snow or alternate between rain and wet snow Sunday
afternoon and evening. Considerable uncertainty persists with regard
to precipitation type and amounts. Regardless, hazardous travel
conditions are anticipated to be the primary impact, mainly along and
south of Interstate 70.
