.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…MONDAY THROUGH SUNDAY…
Northwest winds may gust to 40 mph around mid day Monday along a line
that extends from Akron, Colorado to Garden City, Kansas. Gusts to 30
mph will be felt elsewhere across the forecast area. Elevated fire
weather conditions are expected briefly over far east central
Colorado and far west central Kansas Monday afternoon as relative
humidity drops to near 20 percent.
Light snow will extend from eastern Colorado into northwest Kansas
and southwest Nebraska Monday evening. Light snow will dissipate
through the day on Tuesday as it mixes with light rain Tuesday
afternoon. Snow accumulations will range from near 2 inches over
eastern Colorado to less than one inch near the eastern Colorado
border and only a dusting further east between Norton and Hill City,
Additional snowfall is possible across portions of the area between
Tuesday night and Wednesday evening.
