This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska…
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.
.DAY ONE…TODAY AND TONIGHT…
A narrow band of moderate to heavy snow extending southeastward from
southern Yuma county Colorado to Sherman, Thomas, and Logan counties
in northwest Kansas will persist through 10:30 AM MST this morning.
A quick 1 to 2 inches of snow is expected in association with this
band. Reduced visibilities and accumulating snow on area roads will
result in dangerous travel conditions, particularly along Interstate
70 from Kanorado to Goodland to Oakley. The band of snow is expected
to weaken from northwest to southeast as the morning progresses.
