northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.
.DAY ONE…THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT…
Strong to severe thunderstorms may develop between 3 PM and 10 PM
MDT. The main risks will be hail up to two inches in diameter and
damaging wind gusts up to 70 mph. The threat for hail will be
primarily west of a Trenton, Nebraska to Colby and Leoti, Kansas
line. However the threat for damaging winds will extend across the
entire forecast area.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…SUNDAY THROUGH SATURDAY…
Tuesday through Wednesday night, locally heavy rainfall and severe
thunderstorms may occur across the central High Plains region.
