Yuma County Hazardous Weather Outlook

This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska…
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.

.DAY ONE…TODAY AND TONIGHT…

Quarter mile visibility has been reported at McCook in the fog. So
far the fog seems to be confined to Red Willow County. The fog should
lift before 10 AM CDT.

Strong to severe thunderstorms may form from 3 PM to 10 PM MDT. The
main risk will be hail up to hen egg size and wind gusts up to 70
MPH. The threat for hail will be primarily west of a Trenton, NE to
Colby and Leoti line. However the threat for damaging wind gusts
will extend across the entire forecast area.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY…

Tuesday through Wednesday night locally heavy rainfall and severe
thunderstorms may occur across the Tri-State Area.

Spotter activation is not anticipated at this time.
