YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  A Flood Watch continues through tonight for the entire area. Rainfall today will result in generally 1-2" south of Interstate 70 and east of Highway 25 in Kansas and Nebraska, with local amounts of 2-4" or higher possible in those areas. Elsewhere, heavy rainfall amounts will be more isolated.  There is a marginal risk for severe thunderstorms this afternoon and evening generally east of Highway 25 in northwest Kansas. Stronger storms will be capable of producing wind gusts of up to 60 mph and brief tornadoes.  There may be a few patches of dense fog tonight, mainly in Northwest Kansas.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...  The Flood Watch continues through the day on Thursday.
