Yuma County Hazardous Weather Outlook

This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska…
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.


A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect through this evening for all
but Greeley and Wichita counties. Light snow will continue through
today and is expected to end from west to east late this evening. Up
to three inches of total snowfall is expected along with patchy areas
of blowing snow due to winds gusting near 30 mph.

Wind chill values early this morning will range from the single
digits below zero across eastern Colorado with single digits above
zero over northwest Kansas and southwest Nebraska.


Low temperatures early Wednesday morning will range from the single
digits above zero across eastern Colorado to the teens above zero
further east over central Kansas and Nebraska. Light winds will bring
wind chill values down near 10 below zero over eastern Colorado with
single digit above zero values over north central Kansas and south
central Nebraska.


Spotter activation will not be required. Reports of snowfall amounts
would be much appreciated.
