Yuma County Hazardous Weather Outlook

This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska…
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.

.DAY ONE…TODAY AND TONIGHT…

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect through Tuesday evening for
areas along and north of Interstate 70. A period of freezing
drizzle or freezing light rain is possible Monday morning along and
north of the Interstate before accumulating snowfall begins this
evening.

Light snow will spread from west to east across the area this evening
and will continue through tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY…

Light snow will continue through Tuesday evening. Snow accumulations
will range from 1 to 3 inches. Below zero wind chill readings are
expected Monday night into Tuesday morning and again Tuesday night
into Wednesday morning.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT…

Spotter activation will not be needed, but any reports of freezing
precipitation and snowfall amounts would be appreciated.
