This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado. .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT... A Heat Advisory is in effect until sunset this evening for Northwest Kansas and Southwest Nebraska, where another day of triple digit temperatures and heat indices will further increase the risk of heat related illnesses and place additional stress on livestock and pets. A few severe storms are possible this afternoon and evening, mainly in eastern Colorado and nearby Kansas and Nebraska border counties between 3 PM and 10 PM MDT. Localized wind gusts up to 75 mph are the main threat. Locally heavy rainfall, nuisance flooding and an isolated instance of quarter size hail are also possible. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...
