.DAY ONE…TODAY AND TONIGHT…
Adverse fire weather conditions are expected this afternoon in
eastern Colorado and extreme western Kansas, or along and west of
Kansas Highway 27.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY…
Near record high temperatures in the 70s, breezy southwest winds,
and low relative humidity values will result in dangerous fire
weather conditions over portions of the Tri-State area Sunday
afternoon, particularly in Eastern Colorado and Northwest Kansas.
An abrupt transition to colder temperatures will occur Sunday night
into Monday. Light accumulating snow is expected across portions of
the Tri-State area Monday night into Tuesday, and below zero wind
chill values will be possible Monday night through Wednesday morning.
