This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado. .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT... A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued through 11pm central time for portions of northwest Kansas. Wind gusts up to 75 mph and hail around golf ball size are the primary hazards resulting in potential damage to property and crops. Northwest Kansas has the highest threat for severe weather. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY... Scattered thunderstorms are forecast across the area again Thursday afternoon and evening. A few severe storms are possible, mainly between 3 PM and 10 PM MDT. Wind gusts up to 70 mph is the primary threat. A threat for hail up to tennis ball size is possible if initial storms can remain isolated for a prolonged period of time.
