There is a marginal risk for severe thunderstorms this afternoon and evening, mainly for Eastern Colorado and south of Interstate 70 in northwest Kansas. Scattered thunderstorms are expected to move into Colorado between 5 and 9 PM MT, and possibly into areas south of Interstate 70 in northwest Kansas between 7 PM and midnight MT. Large hail up to golf ball size and wind gusts around 60 mph are the potential hazards. Severe storms may be able to cause damage to life and property. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY... There is a marginal risk for a severe thunderstorm or two Saturday afternoon and early evening north of Highway 34 from Yuma, Colorado, to McCook, Nebraska.
