Yuma County Hazardous Weather Outlook

This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska…
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.

.DAY ONE…THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT…

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…FRIDAY THROUGH THURSDAY…

Record or near record high temperatures in the upper 60s to middle
70s are expected on Sunday. Near critical fire weather conditions are
also expected for a few hours Sunday afternoon with breezy west
winds and relative humidity values dropping below 20 over far
eastern Colorado and extreme western Kansas.

There is a chance of light accumulating snowfall across the area
late Monday into Tuesday. With breezy and colder conditions expected
along with accumulating snowfall, early morning wind chills on
Monday and Tuesday could drop to below zero across portions of far
eastern Colorado, extreme southwest Nebraska, and far western Kansas.
