YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  A couple hours of critical fire weather conditions are forecast across Yuma and northern Kit Carson counties from the mid afternoon into the evening hours. Minimal humidity recovery is forecast ahead of a wind shift overnight and increase in winds. Should a fire start it could have the potential for erratic behavior.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY...  Dry conditions and northwesterly winds gusting from 25 to 35 MPH may lead to prolonged critical fire weather conditions and patchy blowing dust Wednesday. Poor air quality, visibility reduced down to a mile, and rapid fire growth may occur Wednesday.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotters are encouraged to report significant weather conditions.
