YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  Strong NNW winds will gust up to 55 mph late this morning. Localized plumes of blowing dust may lower visibility and impact air quality. Winds will steadily weaken throughout the afternoon.  A few hours of critical fire weather conditions are expected in eastern Colorado this afternoon, mainly along and south of I-70 where dry conditions and 25 to 35 mph NNW winds may lead to rapid fire growth.
