YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado. .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT... Dense fog may develop overnight across Red Willow, Hitchcock, Decatur, Norton and Norton counties. Visibilities may drop to one quarter mile or less. Wildlife, stalled vehicles and other road obstructions will be difficult to spot. Low visibility may cause the time to slow down and stop to be longer than the time you are able to see ahead. A few strong to potentially severe storms are possible this afternoon along and east of roughly a McCook, Nebraska to Tribune, Kansas line. Large hail around half dollar size, damaging winds up to 65 mph and a brief tornado are the main hazards. Blowing dust with visibilities less than one mile can't be ruled out with any storm outflow. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY... No hazardous weather is expected at this time. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotters are encouraged to report significant weather conditions.
