YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  A Flash Flood Watch continues overnight for areas along and north of U.S. 36 in Kansas and Nebraska. Localized precipitation totals up to 3.5 inches overnight may lead to Flash Flooding. Overnight flooding presents an additional threat as it is difficult to notice.  There is a marginal risk for severe thunderstorms mainly this evening across the entire area. Confidence in storm development is on the low side (20-30%), but if they develop would be capable of producing marginally severe hail up to quarter size and wind gusts up to 60 mph.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY...  There is a marginal risk for severe thunderstorms once again Wednesday afternoon and evening in the entire Tri State area. Scattered afternoon and evening storms may produce sporadic large hail and damaging winds. Areas along and east of Highway 83 in Kansas and Nebraska are somewhat favored at this time.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotters are encouraged to report significant weather conditions.
