Today, there is a 5 to 10 percent chance for a few severe storms during the afternoon and evening hours for the entire area. Wind gusts up to 70 mph and hail up to one inch in diameter are possible. Blowing dust from the storms' winds may create localized brownout conditions. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY... Severe storms will be possible Friday through Monday. Large hail will be the main threat through these days, but damaging winds and tornadoes may also be possible at times. Friday's threat is mainly during the evening and overnight hours, while the rest of the days are mainly during the afternoon and evening hours.
