YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...  A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for eastern Colorado this evening into Wednesday afternoon. Snowfall accumulations up to 5 inches are expected and visibility dropping down to 1 mile in heavy snow and patchy blowing snow is possible. Travel may become hazardous.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY...  A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for eastern Colorado until Wednesday afternoon. Snowfall accumulations up to 5 inches are expected and visibility dropping down to 1 mile in heavy snow and patchy blowing snow is possible. Travel may become hazardous.  Tuesday and Wednesday nights, temperatures are forecast to cool below freezing. A Freeze Warning has been issued for Wednesday night into Thursday morning for areas along and west of KS 27 and a Freeze Watch remains for areas along and east of KS 25. Sensitive vegetation may be impacted by freezing temperatures.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Active weather across portions of the Tri-State Area is anticipated. Spotters are encouraged to report significant weather conditions.
