.DAY ONE…THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT…
A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for portions of Southwest
Nebraska and Northwest Kansas this evening on into Friday morning. A
combination of light snow, sleet, and possibly freezing drizzle may
cause hazardous travel.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…FRIDAY THROUGH THURSDAY…
Winter Weather Advisory will continue for the morning hours Friday
and will end as precipitation exits the Tri-State Area. Hazardous
travel still possible Friday morning before temperatures warm above
freezing. Less than an inch of snow is expected with only a few
hundredths of an inch of ice at most.
Southerly winds will transition to the northwest behind a cold front
Friday evening. Wind gusts of 45-55 MPH are expected. Blowing dust
may cause reduced visibilities in localized areas late Friday
afternoon into Friday evening along and behind the cold front in East
